variable frame rates , firestore and fcp

i'm shooting 720p at 60 fps and streaming to the fs-100 but when i import to fcp 5.1, i'm just seeing a normal frame rate. the fs-100 supports variable frame rates and i set the frame rate in the hvx200 so i'm assuming i'm doing something wrong when i import to fcp.

anybody shooting slow mo successfully with a setup like this?

I shot at 60 frames and then tried to remap in FCP to 24 - looked cruddy, juddery, like it was trying to interpolate even though it shouldn't have to (I never deinterlaced, but anyway). So in camera stuff is crisper in my experience - which means shooting ProgressiveNative.

However, you have what you have and you'll have the same thing all over again at a future date, so...

What will change your life is: HD Frame Rate Converter. Basically means you can make your mind up later.
