Variable Frame Rates and FCP

Sorry if this has been asked before, but can't seem to locate in search function.

I'll have a camera next week to test this, but meanwhile, does anyone know whether the Panasonic Variable Frame Rate plug-in for FCP, released for dealing with Varicam footage captured over firewire, will work with over/undercranked footage in 24p to a Firestore. On another camera I used, of course I had no problem going 24pN to P2 cards.

Thanks

It should work. The files captured to the Firestore are similiar to what you'd capture from the Varicam. And it works great with footage shot 60p on the HVX to P2 cards.
