GH5 Variable Frame Rate Question

I have my GH5 Fn3 Button set up this way: For MF to provides access to Magnification by Shutter or Iris Wheels. For AFC to provide access to Face Eye Detection, Tracking, 225 Area, Custom Multi and One Area.

Is there a workaround to use AFC Face Eye Detection, Tracking, 225 Area, Custom Multi and One Area. When you turn on Variable Frame Rate. Or does Variable Frame Rate preclude using these features?
