Value of HVX200A vs HVX200

I'm looking at an HVX200 and an HVX200A. The HVX200 comes with 4 batteries, 2x16GB R P2 cards, 1 32GB E P2 card, a wide angle lens and a field dump unit, plus the usual stuff (charger, etc). I can get it for $2200. The HVX200A comes with 1x16GB R P2 card, 1 battery and a carry bag, but it's $2500. Is the better low light sensitivity of the HVX200A worth the extra $300 as well as the loss of all those accessories? I'm leaning towards the 200, but I've never owned a camera before.

Where are you getting the camera and is it new or used? I've seen hvx200a's go for much less than that with high cards. Same goes for hvx, though you are getting much more p2 which is good. Unless you are in rush I would wait for a better deal to come out here on the forums first.

Well it really depends on what you’re looking for..Do you want the lower light capabilities or do you want the space? Personally id go with the space purely because I don’t use low light as I light my scenes anyway, but it really depends on what you intend to use the cam for. If it’s for something like a low grade horror movie get the 200a you’ll need it but if it’s under controlled lighting get the 200.
