v NOT ALL TAPES ARE CREATED EQUALLY? v

I just ran out of my first tape which was enclosed with my DVX it was a 63 min, panasonic prefessional tape. So I went to my local FRY's Electronics store and the only panasonic DV tape I could find was one without the professional logo. Is this less quality? I heard it is bad to run anything through my cam other than the "pro" tape is this true?

thats not neccessarily true. its a good rule of thumb to stay with one brand of tape.. if you want the best, stay with the MQ tapes. if you dont want to spend the money for them then use what meets your purse/wallet and stick with it.
