V-Log l screen grab

I was unsure of where this should go,
This is a screen grab from a recent mountain bike project that I shot UHD 24p in V-Log internal with the superb sigma 18-35 on a speedbooster. I did some brief colour within the new panel for Premiere CC (which I love). So far I think the V-Log l is an incredible tool for someone like me that very very rarely has the opportunity to light the sports I am shooting and furthermore I am not seeing all the issues that people are mentioning while using the V-Log profile.
As always constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

Looks like a great Grab Graeme. Too bad no one has replied. I don't know what type of look you're going for but that grab, by itself, looks good to me. This is without any idea of what type of feel you want.

As for the V-log. The image you posted doesn't exhibit the nasty artifacts because you don't have any gradients anywhere. Your image is full of detail. Get a sky in the shot, or a wall, or, literally anything that is a single colour. I see the purple magenta macroblocking on almost everything, which is very unfortunate.
