V detail frequency

I would like to start shooting with V detail frequency "Thin" so as to get the best possible quality when, evenutally, I, and everyone else, will have progressive scan, HD TVs. But obviously, I don't want to have flicker now, while I am distributing DVDs to people with interlaced TVs. Can I do anything in post-production, using Vegas, to make a version that won't flicker, despite being shot with "Thin"?

If you get any jaggie flicker just add a slight blur

If you don't get anything, then bada bing bada boom you have more V detail

Either way you win

Monte, Thanks for that tip.
If I don't see any flicker, viewing my DVD on my interlaced TV, can I assume that other people won't have a problem with my DVDs on their TVs, or may it be different with different TVs?
