UX180 -> Final Cut Workflow

Hi everyone... I'm just about to import a big project into Final Cut X and am wondering about the workflow with these UX180 files.
I have all MOV files so shouldn't I be able to just import them straight into Final Cut without transcoding them?
All files were shot UHD at 60p and have a new project option for 4k 3840X2160 but will choose the 29.97 option for getting some slow motion...

Thanks for any ideas you might have.
 
Just wanted to make sure before I get started... I just don't see any reason why I can't just import the MOV files as they drop right in so nicely.
I guess a second question would be if the final product is going to the web, would the right way to start be editing in the 4k timeline then exporting a 1080P project so I at least have the master in the UHD format?
 
You won't have any issues with .movs.

If you're editing in 4K, I would upload in 4K too.
