UV filters

Hi,

I can't comment about the Heliopan.

All i can say for sure is that B&W haze filters are incredibly transparent and effective.
Very high quality IMHO.

I use the Heliopan for the HVX and it's together with B+H the highest quality I know for UV-filters. It's a german brand with 14 coats - that's why it's called SHPMC (Super-Heliopan-Protect-Multi-Coating). It's almost the same like the B+W filter that's called MRC.

You can find an english PDF on the german Homepage of Heliopan LINK and that'll give you some information. All I can tell about it is that I use it and that I am highly satisfied with it.

Hello allahkaram,

I know that it's not one of the two, but we have moved the Formatt UV filters a lot lately. They are about the same price range.

Best regards,

Andrew Hoffman
