Uv Filter ??

I need the best "bang for the buck" 82mm UV filter for my 200. B+H has so many. DVCPRO HD is shot mostly on this camera.

Thanks
Matt

Don't put cheap glass in front of a good lens. If you don't need lens protection, go without a filter, but otherwise spend the extra bucks to get a B+W filter or something of similar quality.

I've had good luck with the Filter Connection, they have most B+W filter sizes in stock, and their prices and service are excellent.

the tiffen haze 1 is reported to knock out more stops of UV light than any of the others, it's the only one I'll use.

The best that I have found if you just want a protector is the Formatt clear optical flat:

Please make sure you use the drop down menu to select 82mm round.

It's perfectly clear, no UV filtration or anything. Looks GREAT!
