Using Toast to convert to Prores?

So it appears that using FCP 6 on a power pc, I'm going to have to convert to prores outside final cut. The only solution supported on my hardware seems to be Toast. Unlike Clipwrap, I haven't seen any issues mentioned here, wanted to see if anyone's using this workflow and finding the conversions acceptable.

Also, will toast 10 convert lpcm audio? Tried Voltaic and it won't even load the files with lpcm. Voltaic also only seems to want to convert to AIC, so it's officially a waste of time. Hope toast does, or these clips are going to be inaccessible. Info much appreciated.

There are no issues with using Clipwrap to convert to ProRes. However, there is a discussion if the conversion to quicktime by changing the header with ClipWrap is a clean conversion.

Thanks bgundu, went back and re-read the fine print in that thread. Still curious how Toast performs though.
