Using the DVX for playback...

I have a shoot tomorrow which involves shooting a 5 minute interview, then rewinding and playing back. For simplicity's sake, I think I'm going to use my DVX for playback. However, for rewinding, I'm going to bring my 1-chip camera.

What do you think? Is that OK for the DVX, as long as I'm not rewinding on it?

personally I think you can rewind on your dvx, its not going to melt away into nothing, its not like your using a canon... You could always bring a laptop and record straight to disk. Just open up adobe or whatever you use capture and away you go.

but seriously, I rewind with my dvx all the time I have no worries. It is a solid camera.
