using the AG-HVX200 for converting 8mm

hello
i am looking for some info on using the cam for converting 8mm and super 8

in norway the cam with 2 x 8 gb cards costs $ 11 063 (currency today)
im hearing that in singapore cam equipment is much cheaper
does anyone know of a company there ?

Yep, we do that.

Using a bolex playback device, and the camera with a few tweaks (cine-like D, auto iris -4, chroma -2).

It works well.
