Using Pany HVS 14-140 with AG-AF100

Hi DV Gurus,
I am new to AG-AF100. I have recently purchased pany HVS-14-140 and Voigtlalander Nokton 25mm F/0.95 MFT lenses for using with it.

I made a big jump from a pany consumer level camera to AG-AF100 camera and still trying to learn the basic things.
I have two questions:

1. Can we use the AG-Af100 remote's zoom function with HVS14-140? I could not make it work. If not, then why the zoom fucntion is there at all on the remote?
2. Would the Voigtlander Nokton also need periodic version updates as is done for the HVS14-140 lens via the AG-Af100 build in lens firmware functionality? How is formware upgrades done for the lenses that do not have electronic connectors like HVS 14-140?

The 14-140 does not have remote zoom capability... manual zoom only. Panasonic has two "Power Zoom" lenses with remote zoom capability.

Voigtlander lenses (or any lens without electronic connections) are not electronic at all, thus have no firmware, and thus would have a might hard time making use of any firmware update.

Thanks for the response. Which two pany lenses with power zoom would work with the AG-AF100 remote zoom capability?
