Using O.I.S. Shooting Sports HPX 170

Anyone know or have shot sports using O.I.S. and how's the quality of the video? Sometimes my shots get shaky and I was wondering if it actually helps and doesn't affect the quality of video. Thanks
 
I have used it on the HVX200A (same imager as the 170) and it seems to work pretty well. Can't have your camera on a tripod and OIS on also...defeats the purpose and causes some jerky motion. But for handheld work, it's not bad at all (IMO).
 
Definitley worth using in my opinion. The quality is "barely" stinted. Only make sure not to use it when you have on an external lens or tripod because the point will backfire on you.
