Using Myvu to pull focus?

I have been seeing these online for a long time, but when I saw them in Best Buy the other day I finally decided to investigate further. Has anyone used these to pull focus or even as a camera op?

I just wonder if they are crisp enough for that. I wonder what it would be like stumbling around with a steady cam wearing these? :laugh:

I saw something similar a year ago and was wondering the same thing.

Would be pretty cool if you could wear your monitor!
 
I use myvu glasses with my Steadicam SK2, and they work great for that.

As for focus?

If you establish your focus numbers before hand with a monitor, have a focus puller using a remote, and they know the controls well, I see know reason why you couldn't use them with good results.

For on the fly focus....nope.
