Using my HMC 151 for Webex

[astanley]

Hi all

bit of a noob here , hoping someone can help.

I have been asked by a potential client to help shoot meeting which they intend to stream through webex.

Im wondering if i can use my 151 to connect to a laptop in order to do this rather than use the onboard webcam on a laptop

The technical guys at webex say i can connect an external device through either firewire or usb but i cant seem to get it myself

Any advice, hints , tips, guidance more than welcome

Adam

I haven't done this but a quick google tells me that webex provides recording and playback services.

Don't mean to cut you out of the job but wouldn't it be easier to let the service record it and download it later?

You can record it through a webcam but for using in the future for training purposes etc this would not be suitable. Im reserching a way to do it at the moment with a USB capture device
