Using Mixed Frame Rates in a Project

Is anyone using (what I'll call)mixed frame rates in a single project?

Having just received a DVX, and beginning production on nature documentary for regional Public TV, I'm considering using 24p w/letterbox for my on-camera interviews and using standard 60i for all the "outdoor" or nature shots, and other b-roll.

Final posting will be done on a Media 100 v.6 w/mastering on to digibeta.

Thoughts? Comments? Smart remarks?

You might consider getting this moved to your favorite editor forum. These issues are usually NLE specific, some are easier than others to mix. Vegas mixes easily... I just shot a project that way, and am not sure if I will do it again.
