Using G-lenses for video

Hello!

Right now im using mostly new, expensive G-lenses vid VR with my D600.

I have the following lenses:

16-35mm f4G VR

105mm f2.8G VR

50mm f1.8G


I find that the VR seems really helpful as soon as you are trying to be mobile. The downside seems to be that the focusspan is really short.

Which are your impressions about these newer lenses and do you think the give the same cinematic feel as the older ones? I would also take recommendations :)
 
I've used both Nikon 24-120mm f4 VR and Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 VR lenses to shoot video and they performed flawlessly. IMO, the jittery handheld look is anything but cinematic, and VR all but eliminates it.
