i did this once before successfully and i don't understand why it isn't working this time. i have an old panasonic sVHS AG-450 and hooked it to my AGDVX100 via a sVHS cable. i had the DVX100 on playback (VTR mode) andfrom the DVX100 to my Mac via firewire. i wanted to capture to FCP some footage from VHS. when i play the sVHS camera, i can see the footage on the LCD monitor of the DVX100, but FCP in Capture Now mode (set to non-controlable device) doesn't see the footage and nothing happens.
Question: did i forget something? or did something go wrong?
