using DVX100 and Ex3 for one project...:(

How will these intercut? What would I have to shoot the ex3 in even if its dumbing down its capabilities to make it so I can use it with some DVX footage.

I am looking for the closest match between the two because I have a shoot coming up and the person that was supposed to bring an ex1 fell through.. It has to be two cameras. What do I do!!!

Dvx and Ex3 are the only option. Any answers mucho appreciated.

sooo... I wouldnt dumb down the EX1 to make it look more like the dvx ...
if anything, just shoot the ex1 in 720p24, shoot your dvx in 24p both with shutter speed of 1/48th and roughly the same fstop settings, you will probably have to bump the saturation up in your ex1 to make it pop as much as the DVX...
load your ex1 footage into FCP, make it a 1280X720 sequence at 24fps, then drop your DVX footage into that sequence, export everything as 720X405 widescreen, and it will look fine...
i just did this, i had to mix dvx and ex1 footage, so i just put the final product as 720X405 ws and it looked fine, you could tell the EX1 shots were HD and the dvx were not but thats all i could think of...
