Using Card Combinations on EX cams

If I use both Sony SxS cards and another brand with an Express Card reader, how does this work when uploading the footage to computer? Would clips from both cards import through Final Cut's Import XDCAM Footage prompt? And would clips overlapped on different brands of cards import properly?

In the end, other than the speed of the data transfer, the camera & computer don't really know/care if the video is comming from SxS or SDHC.

I am not familiar with Final Cut but as long as you point the source off the footage to the correct location (correct flash media) they vision should come in fine and be seemless etc

xdcam transfer sees my MxM cards the same as my SxS. No difference at all. I am capturing direct from the card into FCP via xdcam transfer.
