Using capitals letters.

No use beating off a dead horse ... :)

No rude replies? This is serious? But you put in some joke about giving hand release to a horse. Talk about a double standard.

I say do what feels good….as long as no farm animals are harmed.

I remember a character in the novel Microserfs theorized the elimination of capital letters from writing, due to the ease of…not using them.

^ There's another website for that... :P

On another note...

While I've resisted the urge to comment on the offending threads so far, I'm guessing this one is going to be my best opportunity to raise it...some have been posting on this site in black text, any particular reason for that? The offenders do realise the background is dark grey, right? You'd better have a juicy thread title if you intend on making me squint to read it...

If we are turning this into a general grammar thread then let's about:You/you'reIts/it'sThere/they're/thereOur/areUsing apostrophes incorrectly for pluralizing

Just remember, when you start ignoring all that stuff youre one step from living naked in the jungle and throwing your poo at strangers.

Because this forum replaces the F-word with "poo poo," I initially read that sentence as "You're one step from living naked in the jungle and throwing your f--k at strangers."

BTW, I added the apostrophe to "youre." Your welcome. <ironic wink>

That was done out of laziness cause i was texting it on my phone. Notice nowhere in this thread have i stated that i DO NOT live in the jungle or that i DO NOT cast my fecal matter about haphazardly.

Oh, SNAP! LMAOROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, if a discussion about grammar and punctuation is in play, one has to make sure they are ready to take the heat if an error is found in their own post.

It seems to be an unwritten law of the internet that when someone complains about someone else's grammar, they invariably make a mistake themselves.

It must be another law that no one read that I already acknowledged it was intentionally left out due to laziness and the annoyance of texting on an android phone. If imma text, imma get by with the bare minimum needed for clarity, punctuation be damned.
