Using Canon Elura70 too capture DVX footage but the sound stutters - Unusable - WTH ?

Im trying to use the canon elura70 to capture my DVX footage. But the DVX sound dosent seems to like the canon camera . And vice-versa. The sound stutters big time and is just not usable. Did anyone face the same problem with this camera ?

It is REALLY annoying... !!

I use the zr-20 to capture and I ocassionally run into similar problems. You might want to give the heads a clean and see if that helps. Mine is just kinda finicky. It usually works fine, but every once in a while it gets wiggy. I just eject the tape, turn the camera off and on, then reinsert the tape. Thankfully it has always rrectified the problem

It really shouldn't matter what dv deck you use to capture though, as long as it is working properly.
