Using BTLH80W as Field Monitor & SDI out

I think the BTLH80 is SDI in only...? I guess the better question would be, what's the best way to get SDI out of the HVX200?

to my knowledge, the hvx does not have an SDI out option. that was a big plus of the HPX 170

Thanks for all the responses everyone, I can't get over what a great community DVXuser has..

Joe- Thanks for the link! Crazy question, do you know if it's possible to rent one of these in NYC? On second thought, this wouldn't allow me to use the BTLH80W because the HDMI cords would be used to go to that converter.. right?

Noel - The reason they need SDI is that one of the actors will be in a costume installed with a monitor that will allow him to see where he is in relation to the camera. I'm wondering if i might be able to get away with long RCA cords though..

No clue on renting in NYC.

Does your BTLH80 have the SDI input board? if so, that mini converter has 2 SDI outputs, one for your monitor and one for the client.

Where does HDMI come into this? the HVX200 has Component.

Components fine then.

Thank you all! I might not be entirely sure where I should go from here, but feel much more comfortable with he situation thanks to your tips. I'll see how badly they need SDI tomorrow, hopefully won't have to buy the converter for a one day shoot..
