Has anyone found a way of doing this? I noticed online that there is an android app that allows you to viewthe output of a canon dslr by running a cable from the HDMI outputof the camera to the mini usb port of an Nexus 7, etc.
After having reviewed 720P fieldmonitors in the $1K to $3k cost range it occurred to me that thismethod (or perhaps the wifi capability of the camera) could be usedto take advantage of the incredible 2600x1600 screen on a samsung8.4" tablet ($275). This is the same resolution that used tocost $3,000 to purchase the incredible Apple 30” Cinema Screen. Butafter buying one and trying - I can't get it to work.
Does anyone know of a work-around touse a tablet as a field monitor with this camera?
