Using an AF102 in North America?

Hi,

Bit of an odd question, but I have a chance to pick up a used AF102 (which I believe is the Aus/NZ version) for a good price but I'm based in Canada. From what I understand the camera is can switch between Pal and NTSC in all versions so the only issue would be warranty related, correct? As the for the battery charger, would it be safe to use one of those travel adapters or would that be risky?

Thanks in advance. Been eying the Af for some time (have the GH1 and GH2) and this is tempting...

Well, the warranty is your only issue. They're 50/60Hz switchable so no issue there and ... at least the charger I have supplied in the box is 100-240v compatible so all you'd need is the the plug adapter.
