Using a Veil as a net filter

I heard that you can get a cool lighting effect with a wedding veil, so I tried it and made this short about my friend's loaner car.

It was shot mostly wide open or at 1.7 and 1/24 shutter so I don't know if you notice the filter, but there is this one shot where a light hits it just right and was wondering if that bothers anyone, at 5:19, let me know what you think. Not work safe.

I know a lot of people get pissed when they see youtube because of picture quality, BUT this is for youtube so thoughts on the picture are welcome indeed encouraged, as with all the remaining cinema techniques which begged to be critiqued in this short i.e editing, sound design, camera moves.

My plan is to have this be a sort of guinea pig short to be shown and tweaked to see if it is possible to turn chicken **** into chicken salad. This being the first showing I'll do reedits and reshoots and stuff and **** to make it better based on what people say and reactions and stuff and **** no big deal you know whatever

From what I saw, technically it looked good. The story and the acting however, were bad. I stopped watching it just after they started driving.

That's a shame because that's when the story does it's first big turn. I was debating if the little scene with the windshield wipers would bore people, this seems to prove it does.

Yeah, and the lights too. Like I said though, the image wasn't bad at all. It even looked good on Youtube, so take heart in that. Just refine the story and the acting a bit.

Thanks Capt. Quirk.

It would be awesome if someone who watched the whole thing could comment, because it becomes very different half way through in terms of lighting and everything
