Using a powerbook to offload footage with EX1

Hey All,

So, I just bought an EX1, but for the time being, I've only got a g4 powerbook with which to dump footage when I'm on my own (I often have an AC/media manager)

How can i set it up to work with sxs cards?

I know going usb is not an option as it would take forever without USB 2.0

Can I use a cardbus to espresscard adapter like this one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...cardbus_to_expresscard-_-39-150-019-_-Product


or do i just have to buy a new laptop?

Sony SxS is PCIe base card, the link you have is for USB base card.
It won't work with SxS card.
