Using a Atomos Ninja 5” as a monitor for the Sony A7RiV

A problem that I have with the Sony A7rIV is the poor quality of the LCD monitor. So, here is a question: If I get an Atomos Ninja 5” monitor (and recorder) and use it as a monitor instead of the LCD, when I magnify the image for close focus on the A7RIV, will that magnification appear on the Ninja five?

I personally don't have an answer for the specific question, but IMO you'll never use the IV's focusing features again if you have the Ninja V.

Peaking is really great along with 2:1 magnification that's of course easily toggled and moved with the touchscreen.

All I can tell you is that if you magnify the image like that on a Nikon Z6 that magnification gets recorded!

I think it would because it's mirroring to the atomos you can test this by plugging your camera into an hdmi monitor or tv. Note there are many unexpected limitations to functionality when out putting to a monitor. See this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BY0T_UY06U
