Hello, I'm going to be getting a Panasonic TM700 as B-Cam soon and wanted to know if there were any solutions for utilizing the 1080 60p footage the camera can produce in FCP?

Thanks
Alan

Use ClipWrap 2 to transcode to pro res and it results in a 1080/59.94 file.

I have a review in the Articles section.

In FCP7, drop the footage in a new sequence and allow FCP to establish the settings.

In FCP6 I used Toast to transcode the footage to XDCAM EX 720/60p 36Mbs. It worked well on the test I did run. Unfortunately FCP6 doesn't have 1080/60p in ProRes option, so you might want to upgrade to FCP7 and use Clipwrap to transcode it to 1080/60p.
