Bag of Douche
Hey I recently spent about 2 days shooting a music video, I now have 4 tapes, or 240 minutes of footage to log. Since I had to return the DVX to the rental house, I was thinking of using my canon ZR60 to capture to the harddrive.
The question is - is there a danger to the tapes seeing as I've run lots of **** through the canon (ie Sony, TDK and other brands) in terms of tape brands. Would mixing and matching at the last second like that (ie the tapes in the rental may have picked up some lube from previous tapes etc) or will it only have an effect on the camera heads, not the tape itself.
Ok hope that's not TOO confusing. Sorry, I haven't slept in about 33 hours, and have been shooting outside in the cold and the wind, godamn minnesota...
Thanks
