I am about to get a used HMC40 and I was wondering what I was supposed to find in the box:
Camera of course, wall charger, remote, etc....

Thanks.

Oh, the cam I am looking at has 29h. Used by a wedding videographer, less than a year-old. No extras like lenses or tripod.... Maybe e SD card (? Gb)
$1150
Good?
So, so
Bad

Just yesterday and today in the LA craigslist I found 3 HMC40's for $999, $1000, $1050. Some of them had extra batteries and/or a case. One, at least, has the XLR adapter plus extra battery. And you know about the one I got with XLR adapter and Barry Green book for $1000. I had to spend an extra $20 for some extra screws for the XLR adapter attachment gizmo and a cap for the XLR port with s/h. All has turned out well. I'm missing the system disc, the boxes, the original manual, but he had a pdf of manual, the little plastic screen pointer, the ferrite cores.

Looks like the market for buying this camera is great. As far as I'm concerned this is odd, since the camera seems to be a little jewel. But hey, the market is irrational.

Mark Whalen sent you the accessories page, so you have what should be there. Best of luck with whichever one you get.
