A Antoine_Fabi Well-known member Aug 18, 2004 #2 Re: use a tape how many times? Powerdog, i have a "test" tape i used at least for 50 recordings without a single dropout. BUT ...for shooting footage for "real", then i use a new tape each time, then i keep all original footage tapes.
