USB to PCMCIA?

The USB drive is external, and the site indicates "the "F" units, available for a front drive bay or as an external unit, accept 16-bit cards only."

p2 cards are 32-bit. Won't work

Hi PTC,
If your setting up a HVX200 and an iMac, sounds like the cheapest is best for you, just use the Firewire direct from the camera to the iMac, it's free.

oh wow, why doesnt everyone do that then? why does everyone go through the hassle of buying hard drives and stuff? anyway.

A tough decision indeed, we all have to start somewhere, another good investment is to read the instruction manuals, I've lost count of people calling me for advice and I always ask "Have you read the manual", mostly the answer is no or, I glanced thru it.

thanks, im having a really tough time deciding, ill bring up the manual PDF's today and read during class. but im still leaning more to the DVX side.
