Has anyone been able to copy video from the DVX200 directly to a USB thumb drive? I keep getting:

"This external media cannot be used. Disconnect the USB cable from this unit."

I've tried several thumb drives from 1Gb to 32Gb.

My external hard drives work just fine.
 
It's probably a file formatting error. If you're using SDXC cards, they're formatted in exFAT, but the external thumb drive is almost certainly formatted in FAT32.

Just for grins, try formatting your thumb drives in exFAT and see if they work...

We think alike....I already tried that. I expected the camera to ask me if I wanted to format the media, like it does with an external HDD. It didn't.
