Hi,
Has anyone spotted either a USB or FireWire to PCMCIA adaptor that will allow you to interface your P2 cards with your desktop or MacBook Pro (which now does not have PCMCIA)?
I know that panasonic make PCD-10, but US$2500 is a bit expensive for what is a jumped up PCMCIA to USB adaptor. This is also a stop-gap measure until we can buy a CinePorter, so spending that much on an adaptor is not really feasible. I have spotted some older adaptors out there for around the $30 mark, but they are USB 1.1 only, and as such too slow to be practical.
If anyone has found anything, I would be really keen to find out.
Cheers
