When I try to load the p2 usb driver, it asks me to connect to the camera. I plug the usb cable into the camera and push retry... but nothin!
Is the usb interface turned off by default? I have tried with the camera on, camera off.. computer on/off....
Has anyone had this problem? Can anyone verify that their usb is actually functional?
Also... when trying to put camera in PC mode... All I get is dub... is this issue related?

edit: OK ... I am trying to do this in TAPE mode. I switched over to P2 and saw the menu item for PC mode. Can I not dump directly to from tape to my computer using USB?
