USA Frequencies?

I´m European and going to Los angeles to make some documentary filming. I plan to brign my 2 Sennheiser ew sk 100 g3 microports.

The problem is frequencies. They are e-band (823-865) freq

Is it legal to use them in Los Angeles?
I have serched around the net and I am a bit confused?

Any help would be appreciated

Unforunately, the band you want to use is already allocated, for I believe cellular use in the US. Same here in Canada. So you will not be allowed to use the device. If you search for a USA Spectrum Allocation chart, it should show you that.

Specifically, there are 2 types of RF designations you want to look at. ISM bands (Industrial, Scientific and Medical bands) or SRD bands (Short Range Devices bands).

There is plenty of rental gear available from the usual suspect location sound shops in the LA area. Most notably, Location Sound or Coffey Sound (aka, Trew Audio LA) would be happy to rent you usable systems and answer any questions about working in the LA area.

No. The legal frequency blocks (Sennheiser) in the US are A, B, and G.
