Today I visited IBC for the second time this week. Could have bought some cheap lights and gear from Chinese stand holders (just before closing) but kept my money in my pocket.
I did get a better look at two camera's I liked, but because these camera's weren't available I bought the Sony FS7.
These were the Ursa Mini 4K and the Panasonic DVX200 also 4K.
The Ursa mini is not that mini, it is bigger than the FS7, (and of course no build in ND
)
The Panasonic DVX200 is a nice camera, very intuitive, good fixed zoomlens, good specs 4.2.2. 10 bit.
But I am happy with the FS7, smaller, more flexible (lens change) better specs and looking good.
And I think the new Atomos Assasin monitor will be a good companion. So while I didn't buy anything, it was a good event this IBC 2015.
