Ursa Mini 4.6k Released ?

I see what your* saying i can honestly say you don't need full stops/periods to note sentence changes either ;)

Well, looks like I hit a nerve, but the fact still remains that I am right. Obviously you think this is a spelling and punctuation forum. I guess I will take the time to appease you then.

It is alright. I make grammatical errors all the time. It just seems odd that someone could broad brush away the idea of an EVF.

EVF's are amazing, but obviously not for every application or setup. I guess i see monitors as different tools. Important to have both. Also, an EVF goes beyond ENG cameras in its appeal. Not saying you need to use one, i am sure you have used them plenty in the past, and that your preference is based on experience.

Agreed, most of the stuff I work on is narrative and doc work, but if there ever comes a time where I'm shooting sports, news, etc... I would certainly prefer a EVF. The point I was just trying to make is that over the years I have owned 4 camera's with an assortment of lenses, v mount batteries, various monitors etc... which effect what my overall investment will be when I purchase a new one. Like me, I believe that most of the people on this forum already own a lot of gear.

I can't speak for the 4.6k, but I just bought the Mini 4k. I had a $5000 budget. I got the camera, battery plate, battery, Canon EF 24-105 lens, 2 CFast cards, card reader, and a nice padded bag with weather proof zippers. That all brought me to about $4500. I need a new Glidecam now to support the thing, and am looking into options for either a EVF or a monitor hood. So for the 4k version, I'd say $4500 to get up and running.

That is a nice price point for. Camera setup in this realm. I will see if my Cineroid retina still works.
