URGENT!!!!!! Jam-sync or genlock

I have a possible job as a b-camera with the SDX and it depends on whether or not I can jam timecode with the sdx and hvx. I was hoping someone could tell me how to do it. This is going to be a broadcasted tv commercial. Please help asap. The DP needs to know with in the Hour.

I don't know if the HVX has a TC in (I don't think so). If it doesn't, set the SDX900's timecode to time of day, free run, and you can literally shoot the SDX900's timecode display window with the HVX200, and then sync to that in post.

Also, Is there anyway to record straight to a g4 powerbook with out going through fcp. The psa is being edited on avid and I use mac. I was hoping to somehow record mxf files straight to g4 and then transfer files to their external. Any solutions to this problem? I don't know the pc workflow very well, so please enlighten me.
