Urgent HVX200 won't turn off or stop recording.

[hx200802]

Greeting All,

So I went out to shoot today, I havent been out shooting in prolly three weeks. The Cam has just been chilling in my camera bag. Pop a battery in and flick it ON, instantly starts recording. I cant stop the REC, I cant turn the unit off unless I pull the battery out. Any and all help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

try hitting the reset button with it on...it one u hit with a paper clip inside the fold out screen

And if the above doesnt do it, let it record until the p2 fills up and it will have to stop recording. Try resetting then. Just thinking out loud.

wgzn is probably right but it wont hurt to try and reset it. It seem every time you send something to panny u end with 1g less lol.
