Urgent! how can I mix two DVX - time code generator?

Hi everyone, tomorrow I will shoot with two DVX and I didn´t try this before. How can I archive the same time code generator in the two cams? I will need this after for mix the images in post (vegas video).
I read and read the manual but I can´t understand how can I archive this!

Search the archives - set the cameras to "time of day" or "free run". But the cameras close together and use the remote control to set the timecode. See manual for directions. With the cameras close together, they will receive the same signal. This will get you close.

Other than that you can always record LTC from a common master clock onto the audio channel.

use blank tapes w/o any TC already recorded . I tried to use a tape that had a few min. already recorded on it and I could not sync TC . It would always be 10sec. ahead of the other camera.
