Urgent help required

I am shooting a short film finished my first day on saturday and ever since i have been editing on Final Cut Pro 5. I turned my computer on this afternoon to continue with my edit and all of the footage has turned extremely dark with an orange glow.

What the hell is going on and more importantly how can i fix this?

Can you provide a screenshot and describe what you're editing- format, codec, camera, etc. (shift-apple-3) and then image host such as photobucket.

Hrm- any chance you can make it a little bigger? Can't read any of the screen details. I'd suggest going back to the tapes and batch-recapturing some footage to see what it looks like.

So this exact footage used to look fine and now it's all dark? Have you changed the gamma settings in your System Preferences under displays? Or perhaps turned opacity down or applied a filter?

Noah

The only filter i have added at this point is widescreen, just checked the gamma and that seems to be in order ?? how do i check the opacity?

When i change the settings from ALPHA to ALPHA/RGB you can clearly see the detail in the background where you couldn't before (only its in red), also when i change the footage in colour corrector everything comes through but quality is lost.

What is COMMAND tried control but tha aint it lol ???
