Tomorrow I am shooting a live theatre event in UK which requires me to use my Z1 and EX1 cameras together, shooting in HDV resolution 1080i50.
I need the two cameras to match in format as best as possible so have put my EX1 in SP Mode 1080i50, to match the Z1. However, in the shutter settings I am only given options for 1/60 and above. I want a 1/50 shutter as I use on the Z1. Do I have to turn the shutter switch off to achieve 1/50 shutter? When viewing back the footage, having the shutter off seems to make the footage a bit juddery when the camera pans around (which I would expect from progressive, but not interlaced footage)... Just wanted to double check that this is the correct and best setting for 1080i50 SP Mode...
My shoot is tomorrow morning so urgently in need of a quick reply from anyone who can help! Should anyone have any additional advice settings-wise for a multicamera shoot specifically using Z1 and EX1 together it would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
