I'm currently bidding for a DVX100E camera on ebay. As the End time approaches, i'm completely scared out of my sacks because I have heard alot about this Camera(DVX100 range) and I know nothing about it(faults, etc), and the seller has a fault message that reads
"N.B. This unit has developed a fault causing the lens to emit a grinding noise like the tape is constantly rewinding only slightly louder. Apart from this, the camera is fully functional in both camera and VTR modes. This fault would however cause problems if you were using the onboard mic. Also the wide angle converter has a small dent in the outer ring but again is fully functional."
Is this fault common? Should I buy this camera?
