If I wanted to upload some work to show everybody what is the process?

If you have stills, Jarred has given us a special way to upload them: just check out the "Free Frame Grab Hosting" thread.
If you want to show video, create a URL with your footage on it, and post the link. (I don't know ANYTHING about how you'd go about actually creating the URL, but that's what you *would* do
)

You'd need webhosting. You can purchase some off of a few places, then buy an address... it's not too expensive, but you might find difficulty finding a place to host video for free.
lphosting.com offers affordable packages at various levels.
You should also be able to get a domain name for 7 bucks, but that's not 100% required as you could use an IP address for your URL.
