I have tried uploading videos to youtube using both wmv and quicktime and the quality is always horrible (very pixelated). How do you upload a video to youtube and get something of the quality of the video you are uploading? Thanks.
My favorite YouTube export setting is something like this:
H.264
NTSC
1280x720 or 1920x1080 (depending on your source material)
29.97 fps (or again, whatever your source material is)
Progressive
Square Pixels 1:1
Profile High
5.1
CBR, 3.5Mbps bare min... 5-8Mbps seems to be the sweet spot most of the time
These are settings from Adobe Media Encoder CS4, but you should be able to apply these settings to pretty much any video encoding software you use.
