Uploading/Exporting Quality for Vimeo etc...

Please help me folks - if its been covered somewhere else - please direct me to the info...

But I try again and again exporting to vimeo but the quality loss is terrible...

What are the tricks to export for web and have it look like the actual video in my FCpro - I realize the size is small on vimeo - but I juts want the quality to show - how do I do this?

I've had the same issue. The problem is that Vimeo converts your file to flv and you have no control over bit rate, etc. I use Blip. They let you upload your own flvs.

I see films that are crystal clear on Vimeo - is that because they have a "pro" account?

I've had success exporting (using Quicktime conversion) HVX files at H264, 1280x720 w/data rate restricted to 3000 or 854 x 480 w/data rate restricted to 2000, progressive, 16 x 9. For me, works every time for Vimeo and Exposure Room. Youtube is unpredictable.
Example:
(33 meg file for 1.5 min video- be sure to hit the HD button)
